Golf for Peace tournament eyes expansion to more Nigerian states
Organisers of the Golf for Peace tournament, Heartlink Events, are planning to expand the event to more states in Nigeria. The recent edition at Ikoyi Club 1938 saw 11-year-old Toluwalashe Balogun win the women’s category, while Abiodun Adesina took the men’s title. Convener Kemi Olowoyo-Otegbade emphasized that the tournament aims to promote unity, charity, and peacebuilding through golf. The event attracted about 120 golfers from various parts of the country.
