A deadly attack by suspected bandits has left 11 people dead and two others injured in Gurbi Village, Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State. The incident was confirmed by the state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abubakar Sadiq, who stated that the assailants struck at about 2:40 pm. Security forces responded swiftly, causing the attackers to flee and restoring order to the area. CP Ali Umar Fage has deployed more tactical teams to prevent further violence and urged the public to assist with information.
