Over 50 arrested by Lagos task force during sanitation exercise
The Lagos State Taskforce has arrested more than 50 suspected miscreants and street urchins along the Lekki–Epe Expressway. According to spokesperson Raheem Gbadeyan, the suspects were accused of disturbing public peace and attempting to exploit the environmental sanitation restriction period for criminal activities. The operation was led by the agency’s chairman, Adetayo Akerele, and formed part of a statewide enforcement exercise.
