
Bayelsa and Bauchi win national school volleyball titles
Bayelsa and Bauchi states emerged victorious at the second National School Volleyball Championships, which concluded at the National Institute for Sports in Surulere, Lagos. The event featured 28 teams from across the country, showcasing both boys’ and girls’ competitions. Organised by the Nigeria School Sport Federation with support from the Nigeria Volleyball Federation and Lagos State Sports Commission, the tournament focused on grassroots development and youth participation. Selected standout players are expected to represent Nigeria at an upcoming international championship in China.
