Gunmen kill pastor in Adamawa village attack
Emmanuel Ezeoikwe, a pastor, was shot dead by gunmen in Zinal Village, Song Local Government Area of Adamawa State. The incident was reported to the police by the early morning. The Adamawa State Police Command, represented by SP Suleiman Nguroje, confirmed the attack and stated that an investigation is ongoing. - The police received the report at about 6:30am on April 21, 2026, after the incident happened around 12:48am on the same date.
- Upon arrival, police operatives found Emmanuel Ezeoikwe's lifeless body and took him to a hospital, where he was confirmed dead.
- Three empty AK-47 shells were recovered at the scene.
