
NDDC chief updates Tinubu on completed projects in Niger Delta
Dr Samuel Ogbuku, Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, has briefed President Bola Tinubu on the agency’s progress in completing major projects across the Niger Delta. The meeting highlighted the NDDC’s efforts to fulfill the Renewed Hope Agenda by delivering infrastructure and development initiatives. Ogbuku emphasized the importance of the Presidency’s support in achieving these milestones. He also invited President Tinubu to commission several finished projects as proof of the government’s commitment to the region.

- Dr Samuel Ogbuku met with President Bola Tinubu at the State House in Abuja to discuss completed and ongoing NDDC projects.
- Completed projects include a 650-bed hostel at Niger Delta University in Bayelsa State and an electrification project in Oron, Akwa Ibom State.
- Ogbuku highlighted other major projects nearing completion, such as the Kaa–Ataba Road and Bridge and the Niger Delta Regional Specialist Hospital in Rivers State.
- The NDDC is collaborating with the Delta State Government and Chevron Nigeria Limited on the 70.75 km Omadino-Okerenkoko-Escravos Road and bridges.
- The NDDC was established in the year 2000 to fast-track development in the Niger Delta, covering nine states.
