Seven arrested for burglary and phone snatching in Yobe
In Yobe State, the police have apprehended seven suspects linked to burglary, theft, and phone snatching in Damaturu. The arrests were made by operatives of ‘A’ Division, Damaturu, during a coordinated operation between April 16 and 19, 2026. According to Police Public Relations Officer SP Dungus Abdulkarim, the suspects confessed to several criminal activities in various areas. The police have recovered most of the stolen items and investigations are ongoing.
