Lagos baby factory busted with 18 pregnant women rescued
Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps have uncovered a baby factory in Okuju, Ilado, Badagry, Lagos. The facility was run by Joy Okeke and Raphael Agwu, who allegedly enticed pregnant women with offers of payment for their newborns. Victims said they were recruited through Facebook and promised sums ranging from N500,000 to N1.8m. The authorities have arrested the operators and rescued multiple women and children from the premises.
