Benin, Togo, Niger fall behind on Nigeria electricity payments
Nigeria is facing challenges in collecting payments for electricity supplied to neighbouring countries. According to a recent report, Benin, Togo, and Niger owe Nigeria millions of dollars for power supplied. The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) highlighted the shortfall in payments and the impact on revenue for electricity generators.
