
NELFUND praised for transforming students’ lives at Ilaro university
The Acting Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Ilaro, Dr Mikhail Akinde, has commended President Bola Tinubu for establishing the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND). He revealed that the institution received about N32 million from the fund, helping many students continue their education despite financial challenges. Dr Akinde highlighted the institution’s focus on technical education and innovation, showcasing various inventions by staff and students. He also called on investors to support mass production of these innovations to reduce import dependence and create jobs.
