
Man arrested for alleged kidnapping and assault of job seeker
A 24-year-old man, Otamiri Prince, has been arrested by the Rivers State Police Command for allegedly kidnapping and raping a female job seeker. The suspect reportedly met the victim online and lured her to a location where she was assaulted with the help of accomplices. The police acted after receiving a report from the victim, leading to the arrest of Otamiri Prince. - The victim reported that she was kidnapped on 3rd January, 2026, and the police received her report on 11th April, 2026.
- She was taken to a bush in Ulakwo, Etche Local Government Area, where she was assaulted and her valuables were stolen before being released.
- Police recovered items including an iPhone and a wig suspected to belong to the victim from Otamiri Prince.
