SERAP calls for investigation into missing funds at NIGCOMSAT and NNRA
The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project has asked Bola Tinubu to investigate the alleged disappearance or diversion of ₦2.9 billion from the Nigerian Communications Satellite Ltd and the Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority. SERAP’s letter, signed by Deputy Director Kolawole Oluwadare, requests that the Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani, and other officials be directed to account for the missing funds. The organisation also wants NIGCOMSAT to disclose details about a company that received ₦465 million in unauthorised investment. Allegations are based on findings from the Auditor-General’s latest annual report.
