FG secures 386 convictions in terrorism mass trial
The Federal Government has secured 386 convictions out of 508 terrorism-related cases at the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court. Lateef Fagbemi, the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, announced the results at the conclusion of the ninth phase of the mass trials. The proceedings were conducted transparently, involving representatives from various stakeholders, including the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and the media. Sentences included both imprisonment and orders for rehabilitation and de-radicalisation.
