Naval chief promises to finish incomplete Navy projects
The Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abbas, has pledged to complete all abandoned projects started by previous leaders to improve the Nigerian Navy’s efficiency. He made this commitment while presenting a paper to participants of the Naval Warfare Course 10 at the Naval War College in Calabar. Abbas outlined his vision and mission, which align with the Nigerian Navy Strategic Plan 2021–2030, focusing on reforms, fleet readiness, and maritime security. He also highlighted the importance of personnel welfare, technological innovation, and regional cooperation.
