Tinubu appoints new PTDF head and renews TCN MD’s tenure
President Bola Tinubu has named Professor Shu’aib Aliyu as the new Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund, replacing Ahmed Aminu. The former PTDF boss resigned to pursue the 2027 governorship election in Adamawa State. Sule Abdulaziz’s appointment as Managing Director of the Transmission Company of Nigeria has also been renewed for a second and final term. Both appointments take immediate effect, according to a statement from the Presidency.
