
Rotary Club and Oyo ministry honour street sweepers in Ibadan
The Rotary Club of Ibadan Jericho-Metro joined forces with the Oyo State Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources and the George Aid Foundation to celebrate street sweepers in Ibadan. The initiative included a sweeping exercise and food outreach for 100 sweepers, recognizing their efforts in maintaining cleanliness. Bimbola Bodede, President of the Rotary Club, highlighted the importance of environmental sanitation and the positive change in Ibadan’s reputation. Dr Ademola Aderinto, the Commissioner for Environment, praised the effort as supportive of government initiatives.
