Defence minister urges AFIT graduates to embrace patriotism and innovation
The Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Musa (retd.), has called on graduates of the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna, to prioritise patriotism, discipline, and innovation as they transition into national service. Addressing over 3,000 graduates, he emphasised that Nigeria’s progress depends on the choices made by its citizens. The minister, represented by Mr. Richard Pheelangwah, described the convocation as a pivotal moment, urging the new graduates to become agents of positive change. The Commandant of AFIT, Air Vice Marshal A.K. Ademuwagun, also encouraged graduates to focus on skill acquisition and ethical leadership.
