Navy transfers oil theft suspects and diesel to EFCC in Rivers
Eight suspected oil thieves have been arrested by the Nigerian Navy Ship, Pathfinder, in Port Harcourt. The Navy also confiscated 44,000 litres of illegally refined diesel during the operation in Rivers State. The suspects and the seized products have been handed over to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for investigation and possible prosecution. Commodore Mutalib Ibikunle Raji and other officials emphasized the ongoing efforts to curb illegal oil activities in the region.
