Navy arrests eight over illegal petroleum products in Rivers
The Nigerian Navy has intercepted a large quantity of suspected illegally refined petroleum products in Rivers State. According to Commodore Abiodun Folorunsho, the operation was carried out by personnel of Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) PATHFINDER under Operation DELTA SENTINEL. Eight suspects were arrested, while some accomplices managed to escape. The Navy says it remains committed to tackling crude oil theft and maritime crimes in the region.
