SERAP urges Senate to ensure transparency in NNPCL funds probe
Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has called on Senate President Godswill Akpabio to make public all details of the ongoing investigation into alleged missing ₦200 trillion from the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited. In a letter dated March 21, signed by SERAP deputy director Kolawole Oluwadare, the group urged the Senate to publish names of implicated officials and all related records. SERAP warned that delays and lack of transparency could undermine public confidence and called for full disclosure to ensure accountability. The organisation also threatened legal action if the Senate fails to act within seven days of receiving the letter.
