NNPP faction urges INEC to act on court order quickly
A faction of the New Nigeria People’s Party has called on INEC to promptly implement a Federal Capital Territory High Court order recognizing the Agbo Major-led National Working Committee. The group, represented by National Secretary Ogini Olaposi, criticized INEC for delaying the update of the party’s national executives on its website. The court, presided over by Justice Bello Kawu, directed INEC to recognize the Major-led committee and revert to the party’s original logo. The party also addressed issues regarding expelled members and welcomed back those who had defected to other parties.
