
Gas station blast in Calabar leaves many injured and properties destroyed
A major explosion at Fonex Gas Station on Edibe Edibe Street in Calabar South has left several residents injured and caused extensive property damage. The blast, which occurred in a densely populated area, destroyed the station and affected nearby shops and buildings. Many victims suffered serious injuries, with some receiving first aid on the spot while others were rushed to hospitals. Authorities were yet to arrive at the scene as residents tried to contain the fire and prevent further losses.
