Two arrested in Kenya over suspected drug trafficking
A Nigerian national and another individual have been arrested in Kenya following an operation by the Anti-Narcotics Unit and the Transnational Organised Crime Unit. The operation targeted a suspected narcotics trafficking network, leading authorities to a location in Ruaka, Kiambu County. During the search, several items believed to be linked to drug trafficking were recovered. Okeke Ikechukwu and Alex Opondo were taken into custody as investigations continue.

- Authorities searched a house in Mbuti Apartment, recovering suspected narcotic drugs, weighing scales, mobile phones, foreign passports, and cash in Kenyan and Nigerian currencies.
- The suspects, Okeke Ikechukwu (Nigerian) and Alex Opondo (Kenyan), were arrested and taken to Ruaraka and Pangani Police Stations.
- All recovered items have been secured for forensic analysis, and investigations are ongoing to trace more suspects and dismantle the network.
