
Police arrest four for vandalising oil company facility in Akwa Ibom
Four suspects have been arrested by the Akwa Ibom State Police Command for allegedly vandalising facilities belonging to Seplat Energy in Ibeno Local Government Area. The Police Public Relations Officer, Timfon John, confirmed the arrests and stated that the suspects attempted to damage other installations after destroying the company’s signpost. The police responded swiftly to a distress call and are currently searching for the group’s leader and other fleeing members. The police have warned against acts of vandalism and urged the public to resolve disputes lawfully.
