NPFL to honour late Henry Nwosu with minute’s silence
Gbenga Elegbeleye, chairman of the Nigeria Premier Football League, has directed that a minute’s silence be observed before all Matchday 30 fixtures to honour the late former Green Eagles captain Henry Nwosu. The league body confirmed the tribute will take place across all matches to recognise Nwosu's contributions to Nigerian football. Nwosu died at the age of 62 after spending several days in intensive care at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital. His passing has been described as a significant loss to both the domestic and national football community.
