
Police arrest four suspects and recover stolen vehicles in Kano
Four suspects have been arrested by the Nigeria Police Force in Kano State for their involvement in separate vehicle theft cases. The police, led by spokesman Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, recovered four stolen vehicles during intelligence-led operations. The efforts were carried out in line with directives from Inspector-General Olatunji Disu and Commissioner Ibrahim Bakori. The suspects are currently under investigation and will be charged to court after the process is completed.
What happened
- The police recovered a dark blue Hyundai Elantra at Naibawa Flyover in Kano on March 7, driven by Ibrahim Muhd and Ahmed Sani.
- On March 9, Abdulkarim Mamman was arrested with a Honda Civic along the Kwanar Dawaki axis of the Kano-Zaria Expressway.
- Yusuf Ali was arrested in connection with a silver Toyota Corolla stolen from Dutse, Jigawa State.
- A white Nissan Sunny, stolen from a parking lot in Kano metropolis, was also recovered.
- The police urged residents to provide credible information to help prevent crime in the state.
