Young Nigerians present tech ideas to tackle Africa’s challenges
Young Nigerian innovators have introduced technology-based solutions to address key issues across Africa at the AfriVatech iResearch Fellowship Cohort One Grand Pitch. Seven research fellows from major Nigerian universities presented projects targeting problems such as food safety, healthcare, agriculture, and antimicrobial resistance. Dr Wasiu Olanrewaju-Smart and former Egyptian Minister of Health, Dr Halla Zaid, praised the participants for their creativity and commitment to solving African problems. The top three fellows will join the AfriVatech research team for further opportunities and support.
