
Three dead after bus falls into river in Ibadan
Maroof Akinwande, Chairman of the Oyo State Fire Services Agency, confirmed that a passenger bus plunged into the Ariyo River along Amuloko Road in Ibadan. The accident resulted in the rescue of five people and the recovery of three bodies. The incident was reported to the agency by Mrs Fadeke Yusuf, prompting a rapid emergency response. Authorities have attributed the crash to reckless driving and urged motorists to be more careful.
What happened
