
Man arrested by EFCC over alleged N10m land scam in Enugu
Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission have arrested Ifeanyi Mba for allegedly defrauding someone of N10 million in a land deal in Enugu. The EFCC stated that the complainant paid Ifeanyi Mba for a plot of land, only to discover the land was already being developed by unknown individuals. The suspect reportedly told the petitioner that the land was government property, and then became unreachable. Preliminary investigations revealed inconsistencies in the land’s description.
