
Bandits attack checkpoint in Benue, leaving one dead and two injured
Three people were shot when armed bandits attacked a Civil Protection Guard checkpoint in Abaji Town, Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State. Security expert Zagazola Makama said the incident happened on Wednesday, March 4. Aondohemba Kavee was killed, while Orgase Nyikya and Tyolumum Tsenongu were injured and taken to hospital. Security forces responded quickly, arresting two suspects and searching for others involved.
