
DSS arrests alleged leader behind Kogi and Kwara kidnappings
One of the alleged masterminds of kidnappings in several northern states, Shafiu Usman, has been arrested by the Department of State Services. He is accused of orchestrating the attack on the Evangelical Church Winning All Church in Ayetoro, Kogi State. Usman was reportedly hiding in Gombe State before his capture. Authorities say he confessed to multiple abductions and worked with another notorious bandit, Ibrahim Battijo.
