Anambra native doctor’s shrine demolished after court ruling
The Anambra State Government has demolished the shrine of celebrity native doctor Chidozie Nwangwu, also known as “Akwa Okuko Tiwara Aki,” in Oba, Idemili South. The demolition followed a judgment at the state High Court in Awka, where Nwangwu was sentenced to 11 months imprisonment for ritual practices and other offences. The operation was supervised by the Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Community Security, Ben Emeakayi. The court also ordered Nwangwu to denounce his ritual practices publicly.
