
Fire in Ilorin short-let apartment claims man's life
A tragic fire broke out in a short-let apartment building along Coca-Cola Road in Ilorin, resulting in the death of a 52-year-old man. - One unidentified male, estimated to be 52 years old, died in the incident.
- The fire was reportedly caused by a power surge immediately after electricity was restored.
- Firefighters, with support from the Federal Fire Service, quickly brought the blaze under control using three fire appliances.
