Amotekun apprehends five armed suspects in Ekiti West
Five suspected gunmen were arrested by the Ekiti State Amotekun Corps after arriving in the state. Adeleye Adewale, the State Communications Officer, confirmed that the suspects were intercepted in the Itawure area and were found with weapons and other items. The suspects, reportedly from the northern part of Nigeria, claimed to be farmers but could not provide proof. The case has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
What happened

- Weapons recovered included two locally made guns, an axe, a local sword, two dogs, five mobile phones, and assorted charms.
