NAPTIP frees 184 trafficked people in Plateau raid
The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons has rescued 184 suspected victims of human trafficking in Plateau State. Anne Felix, Acting Head of Counselling and Rehabilitation at NAPTIP Plateau Command, said the operation included the rescue of three pregnant women. Some victims are currently undergoing rehabilitation, and several perpetrators have been prosecuted. The rescue was discussed during a workshop focused on women’s protection and security in conflict-affected communities.
