Matthew Ndagoso elected as new leader of Catholic Bishops’ Conference
Archbishop Matthew Ndagoso of Kaduna has been chosen as the new President of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria. He takes over from Lucius Ugorji, whose four-year term ends this February. Other top officials were also elected during the ongoing plenary meeting in Abuja. The new leaders will be formally presented at the closing ceremony of the plenary on Wednesday.
