NDLEA arrests real estate CEO and Ivorian national over drug offences
Kolapo Raji, Chairman and CEO of Trans Fortress Global Resources, was arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency at his residence in Ikate, Lekki. The agency also apprehended Michael Gohouri, an Ivorian, at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport for drug trafficking. Several other suspects were arrested and large quantities of drugs were seized in multiple states. The NDLEA continues to intensify its crackdown on drug syndicates across Nigeria.

- Kolapo Raji was arrested at his Safe Court Apartment in Ikate, Lekki, Lagos on Thursday, February 12, 2026, after returning from the United Kingdom.
- A search of Raji's residence led to the recovery of 89.20 kilograms of Canadian Loud cannabis and a 2024 Toyota Hilux.
- Michael Gohouri, also known as Anunwa Michael, was arrested at the Kano airport after ingesting 82 wraps of cocaine weighing 1.49 kilograms; he had arrived in Lagos from Milan on 17th January, 2026.
- Additional arrests include Ugwuja Kingsley with 56 kilograms of skunk at Agbara on Thursday, February 19, and Ekwe Arinze with 76 kilograms at Oshodi on Tuesday, February 17.
- NDLEA operatives also made significant drug seizures and arrests in Rivers, Kogi, Ondo, Bauchi, Delta, and Edo States, including the destruction of over 1,200 kilograms of skunk on farms in Edo.
