Customs transfer seized petrol worth N40.7m to NMDPRA
The Nigerian Customs Service, led by Adewale Adeniyi, has handed over 1,650 jerrycans of Premium Motor Spirit valued at N40.7 million to the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority. The fuel was seized from various locations in Lagos State following intensified anti-smuggling operations. Abubakar Aliyu, representing Adewale Adeniyi, highlighted the importance of regulatory compliance and inter-agency collaboration. The operation was part of efforts to curb economic sabotage and ensure energy security.
