Ogun government urges farmers to use new infrastructure
The Ogun State Government is urging farmers and stakeholders to make full use of newly established agricultural infrastructure to reduce post-harvest losses. Bolu Owotomo, Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, highlighted the importance of collaboration at the Ogun Agricultural Infrastructure Sustainability Forum in Ibara, Abeokuta. The government has implemented several initiatives to support farmers, including financial access, capacity-building, and improved processing facilities. Owotomo and other officials emphasized that maximizing these resources is key to boosting productivity and ensuring food security.
