Army stops cattle rustling and arrests suspects in Benue
Troops from Operation Whirl Stroke have intervened in a cattle rustling incident in Benue State. Lieutenant Ahmad Zubairu confirmed the arrest of suspects and the recovery of stolen meat. One herder was killed and another injured during the incident. Major General Moses Gara reaffirmed the military's commitment to ending violence and cattle rustling in the area.
