Alara of Ilara named new LASU chancellor
Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos State, has appointed the Alara of Ilara, Oba Olufolarin Ogunsanwo, as the sixth Chancellor of Lagos State University. The announcement was made by the university’s Registrar, Emmanuel Fanu. Oba Ogunsanwo succeeds Gbolahan Elias, who served as the fifth Chancellor. The university’s management expressed optimism about the new Chancellor’s leadership and thanked Elias for his service.
