Police detain four over Benue church kidnapping
The Benue State Police Command has arrested four suspects linked to the abduction of nine worshippers from St. John’s Catholic Church in Ojije, Utonkon. According to spokesperson DSP Udeme Edet, the rescue was achieved through collaboration with other security agencies. Two suspects were initially arrested, with two more apprehended during a raid on February 14. The police say investigations are ongoing to capture other fleeing members of the criminal network.
