Over 50 youth teams compete in Taiwo Afolabi Cup in Lagos
Dr Taiwo Afolabi is being honoured as 56 grassroots football teams compete in the 10th edition of the Taiwo Afolabi U-17 Football Tournament in Lagos. The event, organised by the Lagos State Grassroots Soccer Association and sponsored by SIFAX Group, features both male and female teams. The tournament has a history of discovering young talents who go on to play professionally. Stakeholders and scouts are expected to attend to spot emerging players.
