MURIC criticises US sanctions as unfair and selective
The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has strongly criticised proposed United States sanctions against several prominent Muslim leaders and organisations in Nigeria. Professor Ishaq Akintola, MURIC’s Executive Director, argued that the move is unjust and ignores abuses committed by government officials and Christian militia groups. He accused the US of favouring Christian voices and failing to apply sanctions comprehensively.
