Inkosi Brou to lead Nigerian team at African Junior Fencing Championships
Inkosi Brou, Nigeria’s most decorated young fencer, will head a four-person team at the 2026 African Junior Fencing Championships in Dakar, Senegal. The 18-year-old, who is the grandson of the late Prof. Dora Akunyili, has made history as Nigeria’s first global fencing medallist. Brou is joined by Mahathir Idongesit, Sara Idongesit, and Adebodunrin Thomas for both individual and team events.
