Jigawa trains artisans for new CNG conversion centres
A total of 120 artisans in Jigawa State have completed training on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) conversion, maintenance, and safety. The initiative, organised by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board in partnership with Hatfield Global Resources and Safe AutoGas Ltd, aims to equip youths with skills to convert petrol-powered vehicles to CNG. Torunarigha K. Cash and Safiya Idris Hadejia highlighted the programme’s focus on job creation and energy efficiency. The Jigawa State Government is also constructing four CNG conversion centres to support this transition.
