
Soldiers repel attacks and rescue hostages in Borno
Troops from Operation Hadin Kai have carried out successful operations against insurgents in Borno State. According to Lt Col Sanni Uba, the soldiers neutralised 16 terrorists and rescued 11 hostages. The operations involved collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force and included counter-offensives and hostage rescues. Several suspected terrorist logistics suppliers were also arrested during these actions.
