
Presidency and ministry join forces to improve women’s health
The Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare is working with the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Women’s Health to address challenges facing Nigerian women. Dr Adanna Steinacker highlighted a nationwide approach to prioritise women’s health during a meeting with women leaders and NGOs. The partnership aims to close knowledge gaps and improve access to health services for women and girls. The initiative, called RenewHER, focuses on health, equity, and reform through collaboration and advocacy.
