Benue MACBAN chair urges police to release detained son
Ardo Risku, Chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria in Benue State, has appealed for help regarding the detention of his son, Mahmuda Risku. He called on the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and Governor Hyacinth Alia to intervene in the case. Mahmuda Risku was arrested while grazing cattle and has allegedly not been charged or granted family access. The police say the matter is under investigation.
