Customs hand over expired drugs to NAFDAC at Tincan Island
The Nigeria Customs Service, Tincan Island command, has handed over three containers of expired pharmaceuticals to the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control. Comptroller Frank Onyeka emphasized the importance of the operation for public health and national security. He highlighted the ongoing commitment to intercepting illicit drugs and praised the collaboration with NAFDAC. Mr Kareem Adekunle of NAFDAC stated that the expired drugs would be destroyed to protect Nigerians.
